I want to buy commercial real estate, preferably from retail or office equipment. How do I find a good agent to help me, because I'm a total beginner? In particular, what some choice questions correctly, you ask, so they know what they are beyond the norm, "as long as you have done that" kind of thing?

Go with a brokerage that specializes in CRE and CB Ellis Richrad ..... The funny thing is that the stock of the central CRE rarely advertise in traditional media, but an agent will know that the CRE specilaized sold and help you determine if the price is too high. There are things to pack for the analysis of the income which they produce, which the CRE proeprty unique: see 1) The strength of cash flow 2) Rate Cap 3) NPV (Net Present Value) 4) Nature. CRE A good agent will know that these factors.
Internet, Internet, Internet! Thank you God for the Internet, that all companies for your business to compete, including commercial real estate ... My suggestion would be the kind of "ownership of the name of the commercial city and see what comes out .. when I search in my homes on this page are http://www.barryloomis.com/
It has a wealth of information and it would be interesting for us, as you can see that also specializes in one area .. want the same look, but of course for your region .. they work in commercial real estate has been listed on your site .. You can view a list of who you are and then call to make ..
a site that says something about a real estate agent .. The above example has a wealth of information that has a lot of time, which says a lot about him as an agent spent ...
I hope this helps! :)
Word of mouth is the best
You can with your family and friends who have purchased the property, and ask them to
or you can watch and see what homes are for sale have been purchased for the new owners to call and ask about his agency

I can not answer specifically for the advertising. But in general:
Want to know what, if any, fees are not for you. Some "agents" of the charge buyers a fee to the buyer.
You also need to know that its standard research methods of available properties. For example, what the research with their own lists, whose research "for sale by owner" ... etc.
In addition, ask around. Go to other companies in the area that you are looking to purchase and maintain their views.
