A decent entry-level AV receiver will cost about 20K or more, then I suggest you buy a home theater - Home Theater in a solution so that you 1) All products of a company and 2) in India.
Cassette to play? Dude get rid of your tapes - the time it has converted to MP3.

That 25K rupees. You can negotiate and lower the price 22K. Use the rest to a decent DVD player to take to buy new formats.
